Sankofa Flow Yoga Studio is a small yoga studio that serves black women and girls by offering community events, workshops and yoga therapy all for the purpose of releasing burdens and restoring peace.

At the beginning of the project Sankofa Flow Yoga Studio had a sufficient level of online visibility, but a low conversion rate.
The home page did not have a clear call to action, leaving visitors unclear about what action to take.
And the description of the services were unclear and did not resonate emotionally with the ideal customer.
The main goal of the project was to increase the number of people signing up for yoga therapy, retreats and workshops.
The tone is empowering, grounded, and empathetic

I worked with the client to get an idea of how her audience was already interacting with her website. And researched her ideal client extensively.
It became clear that visitors could not navigate the site intuitively, and were leaving without taking any action because they were not able to get clear information and didn’t understand what their next step should be.
We prioritized the actions we could take to improve these issues and decided to begin with
-Reorganizing the site so visitors had a more intuitive experience
-Removing clutter from the site to make essential information clear
-Added a button that would take visitors to a page to get more information about yoga therapy, anticipating that this concept would require intentional clarification
-Clarified the message on the home page to emphasize the main offer of the studio and resonate emotionally with ideal client
-Made “about page” more front and center so that it is easier for visitors to connect with the brand and the owner
-Clarified the descriptions of the services offered focusing on value and benefits helping ideal client to understand desirability of signing up, so that they were more motivated to take actio
